Legal
Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Daniel Wu (“we”, “us”) about your use of the LL Player app (the “App”). Please read them before using the App, especially the disclaimer and limitation of liability.
Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the usage rules of the store you downloaded it from. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your audio
The App is a tool for playing and organizing audio. It does not provide, sell or distribute music. You supply the audio you import and are responsible for having the right to use it. Your content stays on your device; we do not access or review it and acquire no rights in it.
Acceptable use
When using the App, you agree not to:
- use it for unlawful purposes or to infringe the copyright or other rights of others;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify it, except where the law allows;
- interfere with or disrupt its normal operation;
- remove or alter copyright, trademark or other notices in it.
Wi-Fi transfer
Wi-Fi transfer runs only when you start it. While it is on, devices on the same local network can upload audio to your device. Use it only on networks you trust, and leave the Transfer screen when you are done.
Intellectual property
The App and its names LL Player and Lingo Local Player, logo, interface design and software are owned by us or the respective rights holders. Open-source components in the App are subject to their own licenses.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but to the extent permitted by law we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it can play every audio format.
Audio in the App is a copy of the files you import. Deleting a song or uninstalling the App deletes those copies, so keep your original files or a backup.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
App store terms
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and these terms supplement it; where they conflict, Apple’s standard agreement prevails. If you obtained the App from another store, that store’s terms of service also apply.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms when features change or the law requires, and will post the update on this page with its date. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; if you breach these terms, your license ends automatically.
Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (for this purpose excluding the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, the Macao SAR and Taiwan). Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring the dispute before the competent people’s court where the operator is domiciled. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the laws of the country or region where you live.
